To strengthen international exchange in vegetable molecular breeding technology research and application, and to show the latest achievements in vegetable and cucumber scientific research in China, the "2026 International Conference on Vegetable Molecular Breeding and Applications & the 14th Cucumber Academic Symposium and New Cultivar Exhibition" will be held from April 17th to 20th, 2026, in Yangling, Shaanxi, China. This conference is jointly organized by the Chinese Society for Horticultural Science and Northwest A&F University, and co-organized by the College of Horticulture, Northwest A&F University, the Cucumber Branch of the Chinese Society for Horticultural Science, and the Yangling Demonstration Zone Modern Agriculture and Rural Revitalization Bureau. We sincerely invite experts, scholars, technicians, and industry representatives engaged in vegetable and cucumber teaching, research, production, and related enterprises both domestically and internationally to actively participate.

I. Theme of Conference
Research and Application of Vegetable Molecular Breeding Technologies, Cucumber Academic Exchange, and New Variety Exhibition.
II. Conference Content
This conference focuses on the core theme of "Research and Application of Vegetable Molecular Breeding Technologies, Cucumber Academic Exchange, and New Variety Exhibition." It will fully explore cutting-edge scientific and technological fields such as vegetable molecular breeding and application, high-quality and high-yield cultivation, quality and stress resistance regulation, and smart seed industry. The aim is to establish an interdisciplinary, high-level international academic exchange platform.
Confirmed participants include renowned international experts from the United States, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and other countries, as well as distinguished scholars from relevant fields in China. The conference brings together top talents specializing in vegetable, especially cucumber, germplasm resources, high-quality and high-yield cultivation, quality and stress resistance regulation, breeding, and cultivation. Together, they will discuss the common challenges and solutions facing the vegetable and cucumber industry.
Concurrently with the symposium, a Cucumber New Variety Exhibition will be held. We sincerely invite domestic and international breeding enterprises, leading agricultural technology companies, intelligent equipment manufacturers, brand marketing and supply chain enterprises, and relevant media to participate in the evaluation and observation of new varieties. This aims to further promote business cooperation, technology transfer, brand promotion, etc., and vigorously advance the integration of industry, academia, and research, as well as the transformation of innovative achievements.

3. Payment Method
Delegates are requested to pay the registration fee by scanning the "Conference Fee Payment" QR code via "Alipay". Please ensure you accurately enter the full name of your institution, your Unified Social Credit Code, and your email address. IX. Call for Plenary Speeches and Abstracts
The conference is continuously accepting applications for "Plenary Speeches" and "Abstracts." Experts and scholars wishing to give a plenary talk or present an abstract are requested to send your speech title and abstract to the conference committee email: nwafu2026hgh@163.com. Please format your email subject as: 14th Cucumber Conference (Institution + Name). Abstract format should follow the requirements of Acta Horticulturae Sinica. Deadline for submission of Plenary Speech proposals and Abstracts: March 20th, 2026.
X. Accommodation and Meals
Accommodation will be arranged by the conference committee at designated hotels, with expenses borne by participants. Meals during the conference will be arranged and provided uniformly.
XI. Transportation Guide
(1) By Air: Delegates arriving at "Xi'an Xianyang International Airport" can take the conference shuttle bus to the conference hotel. Shuttle service times: April 17th, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with departures approximately every 1.5 hours. Flight information must be provided in advance.
(2) Yanglingnan Railway Station (High-Speed Rail): Delegates arriving at "Yanglingnan Station" via high-speed train (G/D trains) can take a taxi to the Yangling International Convention and Exhibition Center Hotel (approx. 5.5 km, about 11 minutes). Alternatively, you can first take a train to "Xi'an North Station" and then transfer to "Yanglingnan Station." There are many high-speed train options for the transfer from Xi'an North.
(3) Yangling Railway Station (Conventional Speed): Delegates arriving at "Yangling Station" via conventional speed trains (Z/T/K/Number-only trains) or intercity high-speed trains (C trains) can take a taxi or walk to the Yangling International Convention and Exhibition Center Hotel (approx. 1.6 km).
