  1985.07-1986.03: Research on apple cultural techniques in the Pomology Research Institute, Academy of Shaanxi Agricultural Sciences.

  1986.04-1989.03: Research on dwarfing apple cultural techniques in dry land in Luochuan County located in the Loess Plateau, Shaanxi Province.

  1987.09-1988.09: English training in Xi'an Foreign Language University; The overall band is 5.5 tested by the British Council, University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate.
